As most profesional DSO are to expensive for an amature hobbiest I set out to make my own. The mission is to make a DSO that can rivle profesional ones like the Rigol DS1042C and others but on a budget of only €250 or €100 per channel.
The original intented featueres are:
* 105Msps * 4Kb of fifo per channel * 4.3" lcd (psp lcd screen) * OSD + rotary encoders + switches to access basic functions * 2 channels * 8 bits resolution per channel * triggers (single shot trigger, trigger en auto) * time delays (0%-100%, 25%-75%, 50%-50%) * FFT (through USB and special application on the PC) * USB interface * peak detection * min-max-avg * 8 channel logic analyzer (60 MHz, 4Kb of fifo)
The final features are:
* 80Msps * 4Mbit of fifo per channel * 8 channel logic analyser (60 MHz, 1Mbit of fifo)
