LimeBird

Introduction

As most profesional DSO are to expensive for an amature hobbiest I set out to make my own. The mission is to make a DSO that can rivle profesional ones like the Rigol DS1042C and others but on a budget of only €250 or €100 per channel.

Features

The original intented featueres are:

* 105Msps
* 4Kb of fifo per channel
* 4.3" lcd (psp lcd screen)
* OSD + rotary encoders + switches to access basic functions
* 2 channels
* 8 bits resolution per channel
* triggers (single shot trigger, trigger en auto)
* time delays (0%-100%, 25%-75%, 50%-50%)
* FFT (through USB and special application on the PC)
* USB interface
* peak detection
* min-max-avg
* 8 channel logic analyzer (60 MHz, 4Kb of fifo)

The final features are:

* 80Msps
* 4Mbit of fifo per channel
* 8 channel logic analyser (60 MHz, 1Mbit of fifo)

This project has been canceled do to lack of interested and time! This page remains here for reference and maybe to help someone else.
